Pastor Kathryn (Kat) Folk
Pastor Folk became the new pastor at Celebration of Grace Lutheran Church beginning July 1st, 2026. Pastor Folk holds three master’s degrees and a doctorate in education. She recently received her Master of Divinity from Wartburg Theological Seminary and has worked the past decade in university and church ministries. She will be ordained July 18th at First United Lutheran Church in Kennesaw and installed as Pastor of Celebration of Grace Lutheran Church in July. Pastor Folk will serve as both part-time Pastor at Celebration of Grace Lutheran Church in Canton and part-time as a campus minister at Kennesaw State University.
James Walker, Pianist
James is a native of Smyrna, Georgia. He has studied music and played the piano for close to 27 years. His music has been influenced by John Williams, the jazz of Dave Brubeck and other greats of the genre, and the 70’s era pop and rock. He has been blessed with family, friends, and teachers who supported and guided him through the years, and gave him the chance to share the gift of music. He lives in Holly Springs, with his wife, Samantha and their children.
